Costa Rica
From the Perez Zeledon region in southern Costa Rica, where mountains meet valleys between 1,400 and 1,900 meters, comes coffee grown in soil that has nurtured beans for generations. This is Costa Rica, Strictly Hard Bean grade coffee that speaks of altitude and tradition, washed by mountain water and dried under tropical sun.
The fully washed and sun-dried process is clarity itself—water removing fruit to reveal the bean's true character, sun concentrating what remains. Catuai varietals contribute their distinctive profile to create something nuanced and layered: bright acidity like citrus light, medium body that satisfies without overwhelming, and a flavor journey from brown spice warmth through brown sugar sweetness to stone fruit depth. This is coffee that evolves as it cools, revealing new dimensions with each sip.
This is transformation through elevation and care—beans that grow slowly in thin air, developing complexity impossible at lower altitudes. Whether opening morning consciousness or sustaining creative work, Costa Rica offers coffee as contemplative companion, bright and balanced and thoughtfully complex.
